课时分析
本课时是人教版六年级下册第四单元第五课时。围绕“吴斌斌的梦”这一话题展开,主要通过阅读文本学习词汇race, nothing, thought, felt, cheetah, trip, woke, dream及如何用一般过去时态写自己的梦。锻炼学生的思维能力,语言运用能力,理解能力和分析能力,激发学习英语的兴趣和树立学好英语的信心。前几课时词汇、对话的学习为本课时的学习奠定了一定的基础,本课时是第二单元知识的拓展和延伸。本课时的重点是单词race, nothing, thought, felt, cheetah, trip, woke, dream的听、说、认读以及能够根据阅读所获取的信息完成一系列活动和书写活动。

1. 学习文本
(1)第一次阅读
快速浏览,整体阅读。
T: Now,class, please skim the text and choose what wu's dream about?
A、Wu had a race B. The animals had a race. C Wu had a text.
T: Had a race. (板书单词race,领读。)
(2)第二次阅读
T: Next, guys,please skip the text agin,and number the picture(用线画出与图片相符的句子,然后排序。)
教师展示答案(课件呈现句子,结合图片理解生词和句子。)

(3)第三次阅读
Wu had two races in the dream.Let us read the first paragragh about his first race and answer the questions:
(课件呈现句子:There was nothing he could do.He was so worried. "I could run fast at school," he thought. "Why am I so slow now?" ,并教授、板书单词:nothing,thought)
(4)第四次阅读
b.Let us read the 3rd paragragh about his 2nd race and answer the questions:
1.Who had the race with him?(Wu Binbin and some animals.
教师展示句子:There were many animals in the second race.
The cheetah can run fast.并板书教授:cheetah.
(5)第五次阅读
a.Let's read the second paragraph and think why Wu have this change .
(Robin gave Wu Binbin some water. Wu Binbin drank it and
suddenly he felt good. He could run fast again.教授,板书felt)
Could Wu Binbin win the race at last?(No.He tripped and fell.)
Then he woke up.
He was in bed. It was all a dream.(教授、板书woke)
Step 4 Post reading
1.听录音,跟读课文。
2.听录音,填空。
设计意图:复述课文,训练了学生的阅读、说话等各方面的能力,增加词汇量,强化了对知识的记忆和巩固。
3.Think:
a.Why does Wu Binbin have this dream?(Maybe he will have a sports meet soon。Maybe he felt worried about something.)

C.What will you do when you feel worried?
4. 写一写自己的梦。

设计意图:先说一说,再写一写,锻炼学生的口语表达能力和书面表达能力。
